Rosicrucian Reflections #7

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

“The Rosicrucian realizes that at any moment, at any time of day, we can turn our thoughts inward and immediately contact the mind and consciousness of God. We realize that we do not have to be in a church to pray. We realize that we can talk with God on a hilltop, under a tree, in a canoe, in an automobile, in the cellar of our house, in the garret, or in the corner of our bedroom. God is not reached by turning our thoughts outward to some point in the heavens but by turning our thoughts inward to the temple within where the consciousness of God is always ready to respond and give help.”

Essene Meditations And Blessings #7

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

Meditation

The promise, the prophecy, is within me.

That which I have waited for is now present.

No longer need I fear.

Within me shines

The first glimmering of the Light,

And I am filled with the awareness

that the fulfilling of the prophecy

Is not a thing apart from me;

ItĀ is me.

As the first small rays of the sun

Return to my world,

I, too, return slowly to the world of form.

I humbly accept the mantle of that which I AM.

As I merge my light

With the light of all the beings of Light,

I surrender to my own divinity.

The Blessing

Life, you are a profound expression of Love.

The gentle, quiet expansion

Of the winter-mother’s love

Fills me with inner joy.

I bow before the purity of this love

Which nourishes without attachment.

May God bless and protect you and…

May you always be

Daily Meditation #4

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

These daily meditations are excerpts from ‘Science of Mind’ by Ernest Holmes, published in 1926.

“These lessons are dedicated to that truth which frees man from himself and sets him on the pathway of a new experience, which enables him to see through the mist to the eternal and changeless reality.”

“Become quiet and composed. The body should be relaxed but the mentality should be active. Then, carefully read the meditation several times, phrase by phrase, endeavoring to realize the meaning of the words and trying to enter into the atmosphere of thought. After having done this, meditate upon the words, following the meditation until you feel a sense of realization.”

No Loss

“There is no loss. Nothing can be lost, misplaced or forgotten. There was never any loss or confusion. Creation is perfect and complete, and within the One are all things, and are all known to the One. I am now in complete harmony with the whole and I cannot lose or misplace anything. I am constantly finding more and more good. I know that there is no loss.”

Words To Wake Us Up #2

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

“The truth is more complex than it seems and a good heart has more impact than anyone with a thousand words or actions.”

-Robin Sacredfire

“Researchers have proven, scientifically, that humans are all one people. The color of our ancestors’ skin and ultimately my skin and your skin is a consequence of ultraviolet light, of latitude and climate. Despite our recent sad conflicts here in the U.S. there really is no such thing as race. We are one species – each of us much, much more alike than different. We all come from Africa. We all are of the same stardust. We are all going to live and die on the same planet, a Pale Blue Dot in the vastness of space. We have to work together.”

Rosicrucian Reflections #6

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

“Come, step back from your close view of the obstacles that seem to surround you. Close your eyes to them for a while and create a new picture. Leave the past and present out of your consideration and make a new life, a new day, beginning with tomorrow. Build it up part by part in your mind and in your conversations and contacts with those around you until you have a perfect picture of the future that is just beyond today’s horizon. Then step forward bravely into this picture; and with determination start your journey along the line that leads to your new life. You will find yourself master of the picture and of those realities, and you will find in it the greatest happiness and rewards, and every effort, every thought devoted to it.”

Majestic Calm

“The inner mind is still. The soul reflects the Most High. The spirit of man is divine source. In the great calm of the All Good, I rest in peace and security. My life is now reflecting the perfect whole. I am peace; I am calm. I am security and complete satisfaction. I am one with divine source. I am filled with peace.

Words To Live By #11 ‘After A while’

Quaerite Et InvenietisĀ  “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

The poem ‘After A While’ by Veronica A. Shoffstall was first published in her college yearbook in 1971. Written about relationships from a woman’s perspective, I think we can all relate to this beautiful poem.

After A While

by Veronica A. Shoffstall

“After a while you learn the subtle difference

between holding a hand and chaining a soul

And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning

and company doesn’t mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts

and presents aren’t promises

And you begin to accept your defeats

with your head up and your eyes ahead

with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child

and you learn to build all your roads on today

because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans

and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns

if you get too much.

So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul

instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure

that you really are strong

and that you really do have worth

And you learn and you learn

with every goodbye you learn…”

May God bless and protect you and…

May you always be
