Meditation
I have grown in wisdom
As this yearly wheel has turned.
I see
That freedom in my life
Is tied to that of all.
The springtime sense of Me Alone
Has mellowed and matured
Into the deeper knowing
That We are One.
Only when I respect the sacredness
Of all life
Shall I truly be free.
The Blessing
The core of peace
Lives not in thoughts,
Nor in the deeds I do.
It lives inside my heart,
In how I feel
About me.
When I have learned to be at peace
Within myself,
Then shall I radiate that peace
To all.
Let me now go within
To, calm the inner sea.
