Selections From The World’s Great Wisdom Traditions #12 – Buddhism

Couplets

Everything has mind in the lead, has

mind in the forefront, is made by mind.

If one speaks or acts with a corrupt

mind, misery will follow, as the wheel

of a cart follows the foot of the ox.

Everything has mind in the lead, has mind in the

forefront, is made by mind. If one speaks or acts

with a pure mind, happiness will follow, like a

shadow that never leaves.

“He reviled me; he injured me; he defeated me;

he deprived me.” In those who harbor such

grudges, hatred never ceases.

“He reviled me; he injured me; he defeated me;

he deprived me.” In those who do not harbor such

grudges, hatred eventually ceases.

Hatreds do not ever cease in this world by hating,

but by not hating; this is an eternal truth.

Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”

“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”

May God bless and protect you and…

May you always be

Healthy, Happy

Safe and Comfortable

Keep smiling, keep shining.
