These treatments are from Ernest Holmes’ book ’34 Spiritual Treatments’. Use them as prayer or affirmation. If used as prayer, feel the words as originating from your heart and going to that place inside you that God resides. If used as affirmation, pay close attention to the words and truly believe what you are reading. If you don’t believe in God, substitute the word God for anything you choose, and tweak the words to make them work for you.

 

I Greet This Day With Joy And Trust

“There is nothing in God’s universe to fear, for God is always with me and I acknowledge Him in all my ways; therefor I know that wherever I walk, I walk with Him; wherever I drive, He guides me; wherever I travel I am Divinely protected, for He goes before me making straight and plain my way. I abide in the conscious awareness of this Divine protection and go about my affairs in joy and trust, giving thanks for the continuous manifestation of abundance of good in my life wherever it may be, at home, in my business, in the classroom. I feel the Divine Presence every moment of my day and as God is for me no one else can be against me. I cannot be afraid. I declare this joy and trust for myself and for everyone that I contact; thus confidence is established within me and I am at peace with myself and with the world. So it is and so let it be.”
