Quaerite Et Invenietis “Seek and you will find”
“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”
Meditation
The morning calls to me
To slow my pace and be,
To ease my crowded schedule
And perhaps just sit and stare.
To focus on a burning log,
On a raindrop on a leaf,
Or to find my own image
In a flickering candle flame.
The mother’s weather urges me
To let it go, let go.
A deep primal inner voice
Is whispering… within.
The Blessing
I have seen the maple tree;
The leaves have left its limbs.
It stands bare and brittle now,
Its spirit gone within.
And in my mind I know
That deep within the earth
Its lifeblood pulses in its roots,
Rejuvenating strength.
How like that maple tree am I,
As I go within my core,
Experiencing outer death
And inner depth
Once more.
May God bless and protect you and…
May you always be
Healthy, Happy
Safe and Comfortable

Love trees. Love this metaphor. Love your poetry here.
I wish I could claim this as my own, but this is from the book ‘Essene Meditations and Blessings. It is beautiful though.
